Zee gears up with Hello Pratibha' to entice its viewers

As Zee TV’s popular show Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke and Marakshak Aryan is all set to bid adieu its viewers, the channel gears up with another family saga, ‘Hello Pratibha’ based on simple formulae that one should love oneself and then the world will love you. The new show is set to premiere from 27th January at 7.30 pm and the show will air six days a week that is Monday to Friday.
Interestingly, from 27th onwards Bandhan (currently aired at 7 PM) and ‘Hello Pratibha’ that will replace Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke at the 7.30 PM slot will be extended to six days a week and Marakshak Aryan will be shifted to a different time slot for week and then will go off air.

Produced by Shakuntalam Telefilms, ‘Hello Pratibha’ explores Pratibha’s journey of re-discovering her identity and gaining her lost confidence. Through Pratibha’s journey, the idea is to lend ummeed to women across the country – A hope that they can be even happier and feel more complete if only they searched their souls for their true identity, followed their hearts, rekindled their latent talents and learnt to assert themselves better!

Speaking about the show, Namit Sharma, Programming Head, Zee TV said, “The show is simple yet interesting and explores Pratibha’s journey of soul-searching and getting back in touch with the Pratibha she once was, gaining back her self-esteem and recognition of her existence by her family. Countless housewives across the country will be able to relate with Pratibha’s journey of dialing out to her earlier self and re-connecting with all that she used to be!”

On asking about the rationale behind airing the show every Monday to Saturday instead of the usual Monday-Friday format, he said, “As we were on the verges of winding up Aryan in couple of weeks hence we had an opportunity to utilize the time and space on our channel which will eventually help in increasing our sampling. Being a new show, the objective was to give it more exposure and give it ample room to grow on the audience.”

Sharma also told us that since Marakshak Aryan was a finite series and was committed to be a 13 week story. They did not wanted to extend it further and make the show lose its charm rather the channel might get the show back after a month or so but the time slot of the same is still uncertain.

Set in Jhansi, Pratibha’s struggle is for things as basic as identity and existence as she longs to be acknowledged as a person. How will she learn to assert herself with her own loved ones without losing out on the bonds she’s cultivated with such care over the years? How will she slowly gain respect in the eyes of her own family?

‘Hello Pratibha’ is targeted to the core target audience of the channel that is women between 14 to 35 ages. Adding further Sharma said, “The story reflects a story of every women post their marriage but the way the story is being told is what is crux of our idea. We will be making the protagonist a victim. At the same time we will be showing the protagonist exploring more avenues of her life.”

The show has an ensemble of talented actors. Returning on television with her third stint on ZEE TV is the charming Binny Sharma in the title role, Sachal Tyagi will play her husband and Snigdha Pandey, Tarul Swami and Sangeeta Panwar will play other important roles.
