ZEE5 announces its latest original series, ‘Sarvam Shakthi Mayam’

ZEE5, India’s largest home-grown video streaming platform, announced its latest exclusive series for AVOD users, ‘Sarvam Shakthi Mayam’. Produced by Anvic Entertainment LLP and Raw Entertainments LLP, the series is directed by Pradeep Maddali and stars popular actors like Priya Mani, Sanjay Suri, Samir Soni, Ashlesha Thakur, Subbaraju and Abhay Simha Reddy in pivotal roles. Created by BVS Ravi, the docu-drama series will be free to stream from 9^th June only on ZEE5.

Spanning across 10 episodes, the series follows the personal journey of an atheist writer and a dysfunctional family as they embark on a pilgrimage to visit all 18 Maha Shakthi Peeths. There are 18 places, they are called Ashta (8) Dasa (10) S Maha Shakthi Peeth’s which were created by Lord Shiva. As seen in the trailer, Madhav Suri (Sanjay Suri) is a middle-aged man who was once expected to make big but is now bound to challenges due to his urge to be successful in life. He is married to his love interest Priya (Priya Mani) but is always looked down upon by his Father-in-Law due to his failed ventures. Things take a turn once they start their journey.

Throughout their journey, they encounter divine interventions in nature that help them resolve their battles, forming the central theme of the story. ‘Sarvam Shakthi Mayam’ weaves together a compelling narrative that explores the transformative power of faith, strength and resilience of the human spirit in the face of adversity.

Director Pradeep Maddali said, “The show is about how devotion and divinity are always, interesting, and yet debatable at every level and reason. The series states that God doesn’t reside only in temples but makes us realise that God is within us. The motive of this show is self-realisation. I am eager for the audience to watch our upcoming devotional drama series and I am also thankful to ZEE5 for making it available for free to its viewers and for encouraging storytellers like us”.

 Priya Mani said, “Playing this character Priya has given me an in-depth sense of how different sides of love exists and how beautiful each of those are. The role has given an opportunity to explore multiple layers. Can’t wait for the audience to watch our journey. It’s a beautiful portrayal of a dysfunctional family and I am sure the audience will relate to it”.

Sanjay Suri said, “Without a doubt, I must say playing this character who goes through his journey with a beautiful awakening of sorts was something I absolutely loved. A journey that brings about inner clarity for the character during challenging times was very well conceived by the writer and makers. Samir Soni said, “As said by our ancestors, God is always empowering us; this has been proven in this series through a sequence of events. An atheist who writes books against God to writing his final book in favour of God, it’s an interesting journey for one to watch. Also, this genre is something that is not much explored before, so I am eager and hope that the audience likes it”.
