ABP News pays homage to martyrs of Pulwama Attack
In order to pay homage to the heroes, ABP News Network felicitated the families of martyrs in the Pulwama attack at the 7thedition of its special initiative Jhanda Uncha Rahe Hamara at Le Meridien, New Delhi, on 13th August. The show will be aired on ABP News at 8:00 pm on Wednesday, 14th August and repeat telecast at 1:00 pm on Thursday, 15th August.
The show was conceptualized to celebrate the occasion of our freedom struggle and to reinforce patriotic fervor across the country.
The event opened with DIG CRPF M Dinakaran & Shri Rajnish Ahuja, Executive Editor, ABP News lighting the lamp. It was followed by a sand art performance by artist Nitish Bharti, depicting India’s Independence journey. Actor Akshay Kumar felicitated the Pulwama martyr’s families. The ceremony was followed by a music performance by singer Harshdeep Kaur. ABP News donated ₹5 lakh towards the CRPF Relief Fund to help the families of the CRPF martyrs.
The list of martyred soldiers whose families were felicitated at the ceremony are as follows:
- Shaheed Ram Vakil
- Shaheed Sanjay Sinha
- Shaheed Rohitaash Lamba
- Shaheed Ajit Kumar
- Shaheed Pankaj Kumar Tripathi
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Avinash Pandey, CEO, ABP News Network said, “ABP News salutes the strength and courage of those who defend India and wish to record our eternal debt towards the families of these brave hearts. Our brave jawans made the ultimate sacrifice for the sake of the nation. Their courage and bravery will continue to inspire the nation.”
