Awards, Dance show and movie premiere amongst the Top 10: TAM

According to the latest TAM data, Star Plus with an increased Gross Rating Points (GRP) and Channel Share (CS) of 396 and 27.6.% respectively. Six shows from the channel's offering has made it to the top ten shows list. The shows from Star Plus which have been able to make it to the top shows' list are- Pratigya, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hain, Sasural Genda Phool, Saathiya Saath Nibhana and Tere Liye, a new addition this week is BIG Star Entertainment Awards (TVR 5.5%) which was telecast on the 31st of December. Saathiya Saath Nibhana is the number one show across GECs yet again with a TVR of 6.3%.

Colors is placed at number two with an decreased GRP and CS of 283 and 19.7% respectively compared to last weeks GRP of 290 and CS of 20.5%. This week Laagi Tujhse Lagan is placed at number 10, while the channel has been able to get more viewership for the second time screening of the movie Dabangg (TVR 4.5%).

Zee TV is at number three position with a GRP and CS of 224 and 15.6% respectively. This week the channel has two of its shows amongst the top 10 shows across GECs. At number four is the channel's popular show Pavitra Rishta with a TVR of 5.5%. At number six is the channel's first few episode telecst of its very famous format- DID Doubles (TVR 4.6%).

Sony Entertainment Television (SET) is at number four position with a GRP and CS of 179 and 12.5% respectively. None of the shows from the channel's wide offering has been able to make it to the list of top ten shows.

SAB is placed at number five with a GRP and CS of 146 and 10.1% respectively, while Imagine is placed at number six with an increased GRP of 86 and CS of 6.0%. | By Prabha Hegde [prabha(at)adgully.com]
