BBDO Asia’s Jean Paul Burge exits after 18 years; succeeded by Tze Kiat Tan

After 18 years as chairman and CEO of BBDO Asia, Jean-Paul Burge, is stepping down from his position. He and his family will be relocating to Europe. Tze Kiat Tan of Greater China, will succeed him as regional chairman and CEO.

Tan has been with BBDO for 18 years and will continue to be located in Shanghai. She began her career at BBDO Shanghai as a group account director, then rose through the ranks to become the agency's president before being named CEO of BBDO Greater China in 2015. In 2019, she became a member of the BBDO Worldwide board of directors. BBDO Greater China has been a significant strategic component of the BBDO network under her leadership, serving multinational clients while growing the BBDO network.
