Khatron ke Khiladi launches "tiguna' campaign

Khatron Ke Khiladi returns to the screen for the third time, albeit with a dangerous twist. COLORS has upped the danger quotient of the show by three times this time and has launched a magnificent campaign that imbibes the wild nature of this show through a slew of dangerously fascinating promotional films starring host and daredevil diva Priyanka Chopra. The show itself, Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi X 3, will be seen reining "tiguna' terror on screen from 6th September 2010 at 9PM.

Speaking on this innovative new campaign, Ashvini Yardi, Programming Head of COLORS said, "The Khatron ke Khiladi films are completely in sync with the fear and danger levels which will be seen in this season of the show- thrice as adventurous, thrice as dangerous and of course, three times the excitement." Adding to this she said, "Just when viewers were expecting something predictable we raised the bar and have brought in a stunning host accompanied by 13 hot men who will be battling out dangerous stunts and a picturesque Brazil will make for a perfect combination. It is a complete treat to watch and the viewers are going to have an adventurous time watching the show".

The first promotional film that hit the screens shows Priyanka pull a hissing snake out of her pretty bag as she says "Iss baar khatra din ki neend, raaton ka chain sab chheen lega. Kyunki, iss baar khatra danger level se teen guna uppar hoga'. The second TVC involves Priyanka serving up a dangerous meal of a live alligator saying "Breakfast, lunch, dinner serve hoga sirf khatra. Kyunki, iss baar khatra danger level se teen guna uppar hoga'. While, the third and the final one sees her playing matador in a bull fight uttering "Taiyari poori hai, bas mulakat ki baari hai¦ Jab dar sey hoga aamna - saamna¦ Khatron Ke Khiladi, tiguna. Is baar khatra hoga danger level se teen guna upar'.

Hemanth Kumar from Orchard Advertising said, "This year, everything about this exciting show is unpredictable. Be it the host, the contestants or the format. They have all gone beyond the existing levels of the show. Keeping this in mind, we came up with the idea of "Fear attains unpredictable levels'. This is best captured in the tagline, "Is baar khatra hoga danger level se teen guna upar". The campaign is aimed at raising the levels of curiosity and expectations amongst people."
