Lodestar's Shashi Sinha elected as President of Ad Club of Bombay

The Ad Club of Bombay has announced a new set of office bearers for 2011-12. Following a round of meetings the esteemed body announced Lodestar UM's CEO Shashi Sinha as its newly elected President. While Sunil Lulla, CEO, Times Television Network is Vice President. Ajay Kakar, CMO, Aditya Birla Group ' Financial Services and Sujoy Ghosh, Director, BCCL have been named as Secretary and Joint Secretary, respectively. Pratap Bose, CEO, Mudra Max is the Treasurer.

Earlier, BCCL's Dr Bhaskar Das was the President for two years.

Sinha tells Adgully, "Starting this year the Ad Club is looking at extending its reach to other cities too. Most of the events and seminars have been at times limited to Mumbai, but now we plan to reach out to many more cities for pan India participation from advertising and media professsionals."

During EMVIEs 2011 keeping with the new President's aforementioned focus the Ad Club of Bombay had announced that 2 days of judging round will be held in Delhi next year.

The changes are effective September 16, 2011.
