Mausumi Kar to lead Airtel account

Yesterday, we reported GroupM won the media investment mandate for India’s leading telecom services company, Bharti Airtel. The mandate includes traditional and digital media.

Though there was no confirmation at the time of publishing about who will be heading the account. In an official communication from GroupM, Mausumi Kar in a separate unit will be leading the account. Kar has over 15 years of media experience and has been a part of GroupM for the last 8 years. The business will be handled from the Gurgaon office under Team Airtel.
