McCann leads in CLIO Shortlists 2011

CLIO awards have announced its 2011 Shortlist and McCann tops the list with three entries. The CLIO Awards is the world's most recognized global awards competition for advertising, design, interactive and public relations. This year the Conference and Award night for CLIO Awards is scheduled for 19th May. As of now the events are expected to take place in Essex House and American Museum of Natural History.

McCann Worldgroup has three shortlists from the altogether eight entries from the country. The other shortlisted candidates are Rediffusion Young & Rubicam Pvt. Ltd. and Leo Burnett India who have two each and JWT India has one entry.

The categories McCann Worldgroup has been shortlisted in are OOH, Point of Purchase and Dimensional. For OOH, it was Fire Scooter and Enslaved Children "Ceramic Plate' was for both the categories - Point of Purchase as well as Dimensional.

Leo Burnett India featured its two shortlists in 2 categories; Heinz KetchupSketch Up for Print category and Bajaj Hand Blender Pleasure of Mixing for Radio.

Rediffusion Young & Rubicam Pvt. Ltd also has been shortlisted in two categories which included Rasna for Inside The Box Thinking category and Dr. Raj Brahmbhatt, Marriage Counsellor for the Design category.

The CLIO Awards honours and appreciates work in a broad range of mediums. Some of which includes Interactive, Direct Mail, Content & Contact, Film, Print, Out of Home, Innovative Media, Integrated Campaign, Radio, Design and Public Relations. Recognition is also given to students' work in Interactive, Film, Print, Out of Home, Innovative Media, Integrated Campaign and Design.
