Meta to launch web version of Threads

Meta has announced the launch of the web version of Threads next week, as per a report by Wall Street Journal. According to the report, the plans have not yet been finalized and are subject to change. The posts on the web version of thread could be seen by the users, though with limited access, as the Threads app is being set up taking into account the mobile users. It was confirmed by Instagram and Threads CEO Adam Mosseri that they are testing the web version of Threads internally. The WSJ report also mentions that Threads has begun displaying labels for state-controlled media outlets to counter propaganda and fake news.
