News Just Arrived | CBS Studios International to enter India in partnership with RBNL
News just arrived that CBS Studios International has decided to partner with Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd (RBNL) to launch Generatl Entertainment Channel (GEC) for Indian audience.
Sources confirmed to us that Tarun Katial, CEO, RBNL will ink the deal with Armando Nunez, President, CBS Studios on 18th August'10.
It is speculated that the telecast will start with an English language general entertainment channel that would primarily distribute the existing CBS content and later explore the possibility of launching Hindi and other regional languages channels as well.
This move will see the entry of Reliance ADAG in TV content business.
This is going to be one of the most significant global television joint venture in recent times.
