Opening match of Dream11 IPL garners record viewership of 20 crores

The opening match of the Dream11 Indian Premier League between the teams Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians has recorded a viewership of 200 million according to BARC data. This combined viewership was recorded across Star Sports channels and its OTT streaming service Disney+ Hotstar.

This is the highest ever opening day viewership for any sporting league in the country.
