Star India partners with Goonj; extends helping hand to Uttarkhand victims

Star India has always been in the forefront in taking up causes which demand attention and the Uttarkhand carnage is one such cause which saw STAR INDIA using its full network strength and might to appeal to the audiences.

Star India  is urging the  viewers to support the cause which has shook the nation. In a very short span with the help of some of their very popular on screen characters they have launched promos urging the audiences to support this cause wholeheartedly .Actors such as  Hina Khan (Akshara) and Karan mehra (Naitik) of Yeh Rishta Kya  Kehlata Hai and many such notable actors are urging and requesting the viewers to  donate for the  Uttarakhand flood victims.

This initiative has been done in partnership with GOONJ a renowned NGO.

The short promo  would be aired on more than 30 channels from Star’s bouquet in multiple languages; which would enable the channel to reach out their viewers which accounts approximately to 600 million.  Apart from the promos the channel will be using tickers during the shows.

No one can change what has happened in Uttarakhand but with all our support we can surely extend a helping hand towards the helpless.
