The Economic Times has launched The Economic Times Young Leaders programme, India Inc's first ever initiative to recognise and acknowledge the leadership potential among young executives. The Young Leaders programme has been created to fast-track promising careers in a country that is blessed with a favourable demographic dividend. In the process it will encourage a culture of excellence in leadership at all levels of India Inc. This initiative will provide a forum for young managers to test themselves against their peers and showcase their ability at a level that is unprecedented.

The Economic Times has partnered with SHL Plc, the global leaders in leadership competency assessments and the Indian School of Business, an international benchmark in management education. The best candidates will also get an opportunity to make the final list over personal interviews conducted by industry leaders such as Anand Mahindra, D Shivakumar, Harsh Mariwala, Kalpana Morparia, Nitin Paranjpe, Pramod Bhasin, Vineet Nayar and Adil Zainulbhai.
