Twitter launches “Explore”, the new destination for Moments, trends, search and live video

Twitter is the live connection to news, sports, entertainment and culture and there are many ways to see what’s happening on Twitter. Beyond the timeline, trends show what topics are being discussed right now, Moments capture the most popular stories so people can catch up, and search helps people find anything and everything.

Until today, people had to go to a few different places to find each of these experiences. As part of Twitter’s continued efforts to make it easier to see what’s happening, we’re bringing all these together. Very soon, people will be able to find trends, Moments, search, and the best of live video, all within the new Explore tab.

Over the past year, Twitter has been exploring different ways to make it simpler for people to find and use trends, Moments, and search. During the research process, people gave the feedback  that the new Explore tab helped them easily find news, what’s trending, and what’s popular right now.

Twitter is making it easier for people to find what they want- without eliminating any of the existing features. Explore will begin rolling out today on Twitter for iOS, and in the coming weeks on Twitter for Android.  The feature will be available only on the latest version of the app.
