'Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani' will be a treat to watch, says Karan Johar

Karan Johar  who has thrilled audiences in the past with blockbuster romances on the big screen is  back once again with his latest  movie ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’! Setting the screen on fire way back in 2008 with their film, Bachna Ae Haseeno and coming together for a movie for the first time after their infamous breakup, the hit jodi of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone is ready to create waves again with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani! In Karan Johar’s latest film audiences will  once again see the pair who were known to be romantically involved before their much publicized break up.

At the launch of the film’s theatrical trailer, Karan Johar, Producer, ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ confirmed to say that, “Ranbir and Deepika are one of the best pair in Bollywood.”  Speaking about his  film and elaborating on the title he said, “ The title  has  been taken from the 1972 hit song ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani’ from the film  ‘Jawani Diwani’ which starred Jaya Bhaduri and Randhir Kapoor, but the story is completely different.”

“Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’ will be a treat to watch and I am looking forward to its release.” added Karan.
Along with Karan Johar, present at the trailer launch were the lead actors Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Director, Ayan Mukerji.
Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin will be seen in supporting roles in the film.

'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' has  been produced by Dharma Productions and directed by Ayan Mukherjee. The vibrant promotional posters are reminiscent of  Ranbir-Deepika's on screen chemistry which was  noticeable in their earlier films too. The  romantic comedy and  fun packed love saga will hit theatres on May 31, 2013.
