The event was graced by esteemed speakers from the elected government of Uttar Pradesh who presented the report card of the government on the occasion of Yogi Adityanath’s cabinet completing 100 days of power in Uttar Pradesh. 

Speaking at the event, Dy. Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak said, “The biggest challenge for us in ruling the state of Uttar Pradesh is to surpass our work done in the last 5 years and do even better. The last 5 years for Uttar Pradesh were glorious and we have to work even better now. We are our competition. Uttar Pradesh is this country’s largest state in terms of population and we aim to make it the number one state in the fields of industry, education, and infrastructure.”

At the Summit, Navneet Sehgal, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Information & Public Relations, said, “Uttar Pradesh is now one of the fastest developing states in the country. We aim to be a 1 trillion economy in the next couple of years. Uttar Pradesh is now a force to be reckoned with.” 

The event also had esteemed speakers like Mr. Ashish Patel, Minister of Technical Education, Mr. Danish Azad Ansari, Member of UP Legislative Council, Mr. Jaiveer Singh, Member of UP Legislative Assembly, Mr. Dayashankar Mishra, among others who talked about tourism, lower crime rate, education, farming, hospitals, and more. Mr. Pathak also said, “When Shri Narendra Modi ji nominated Mrs. Draupadi Murmu, an Adivasi woman as a Presidential candidate which has never happened before in the last 75 years, the whole country welcomed and celebrated the Prime Minister’s decision”.

With a need to introduce electronic bus services in municipal corporations, the fleet of e-buses operating in 14 cities in the state has doubled in 100 days. Meanwhile, preparation to start the work on the Gorakhpur Metro Light Project has also been initiated. Among other efforts, the Online Integrated Temple Information System was developed in view of the convenience of devotees and tourists within the past 100 days.

The Yogi Adityanath government has managed to get a considerable amount of work done in the last 5 years and 100 days whether it's regarding health, infrastructure or farmer welfare. Though they still have a long way to go to eradicate crimes against women, and educating the youth, steps have been taken in the right direction to ensure the same. The government is also readying plans to provide drinking tap water facility in water scarce regions like Bundelkhand and Vindhya regions.

Speaking of the health infrastructure in the state, Mr Pathak also added, “The state has observed large crowds at the gynecologist clinics and thus, proposed measures to ensure women shouldn’t have to wait for more than 45 minutes for a gynecologist, for which more number of female doctors will be on-boarded.” Continuing, he said, “When the pandemic broke out, the whole world was struggling. If the US or the UK were getting their citizens vaccinated, then India was also doing the same for its citizens at the same time.”
