ZenithOptimedia India institutes ZO Shresht Awards

ZenithOptimedia recently celebrated "Excellence" to mark and celebrate the effort led by their heroes-cum-employees throughout the year by instituting the first ever "ZO Shresht Awards'.

Conducted with a purpose of familiarizing the team of the process of participating in any award shows- right from the process of short listing the work within the agency, to filing, supporting and updating within a stipulated time; the "ZO Shresht Awards' were segmented into six major categories including, "Best Integrated Campaign', "Best Use of Media-TV', "Best Use of Media-Print', "Best Use of Media-Radio', "Best Use of Media in Outdoor' and "Best ROI campaign'.

Explaining the rationale for the awards, Satyajit Sen, CEO, ZenithOptimedia India said, "It was indeed time to put people before work. All this while we have been concentrating on work and awards are a great way recognize efforts of individuals and teams who have gone beyond the call of duty and put work before self to make a significant contribution to team objectives. The entire exercise was conducted in the manner as is done with the process to enter our outstanding works for various industry awards."

The winners were teams who have worked on different accounts. The "Best Integrated Campaign' category, Silver was awarded to team "Uninor' team and team Yakult group won gold. For "Best use of TV as a Media', "Teacher's' team fetched silver and ibibo tamed gold. Similarly the print silver award was bagged by Uninor (Dynamic Pricing) team, Radio Gold by "Maggi Bhuna Masala' bunch and OOH silver by "Everyday' squad while "Best ROI campaign' Silver went to team "Times Jobs'.

The star of the event was "The Shresht ZOite' won by the Reckitt Benckiser operations team for their unending zeal and dedication to their work. Commenting on this achievement, Satyajit Sen, CEO, ZenithOptimedia India, said, "This win by the Reckitt Benckiser Operations Team is indeed special as they have demonstrated outstanding effort in handling the entire operations of one of the leading spenders in the country. The team spent many a night slogging, making office their home. The recognition of this effort was recognition of their character- a true representation of the human side of the media business, where passion meets work and ordinary people perform beyond the call of duty. "
