BARC Wk 7 ratings: Star Plus moves past Colors to claim top spot in U+R

BARC ratings for Week 7 (February 11-17) [HSM (U+R) : NCCS All : 4+ Individuals] continued to see the see-saw battle between Colors and Star Plus for the top spot. This week, it was Star Plus that overtook Colors to be placed at the No. 1 spot. Rishtey, meanwhile, held on to its third spot this week. 

Star Plus moved past Colors to be placed at No. 1 in Week 7. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 657,742, a leap from 609,140 recorded last week. 

Colors slipped a notch to the second spot this week, with a gross viewership of 571,698, a decline from 625,658 recorded in Week 6. Meanwhile, its show, ‘Naagin Season 2’, continued as the most watched show on Hindi GECs in Rural & Urban, witnessing 11,837 Impressions (000s). ‘Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki’, another show on Colors, re-entered the top 5 list, garnering 8,212 Impressions (000s). 

Rishtey held on to its third spot in Week 7, recording a gross viewership of 428,466, a decline from 437,837 recorded last week. Rerun of ‘Naagin - Season 2’ garnered 9,354 Impressions (000s) and was the third most watched show on Hindi GECs I Rural & Urban this week. 

Zee TV, which had slipped a notch to No. 4 last week, remained in this positive in Week 7 as well, recording a gross viewership of 414,538, a slight increase from 410,432 recorded in Week 6. Its show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ continued as the second most watched show on Hindi GECs this week with 10,903 Impressions (000s). 

Zee Anmol, on the other hand, climbed up two notches from No. 7 to No. 5 this week. The channel saw an increase in its gross viewership to 406,528 in Week 7 from 376,640 recorded last week. 

Sony Pal, too, gained grounds this week, climbing up three notches to No. 6 from the ninth spot in Week 6. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 398,584 in Week 7, compared to 367,942 recorded last week. 

Sony Entertainment Television slipped a notch to be placed at the seventh spot in Week 7, witnessing a decline in its gross viewership – from 404,351 in Week 6 to 396,285 this week. ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, meanwhile, climbed up a notch to be the fourth spot among the top shows on Hindi GECs in Rural & Urban, garnering 9,059 Impressions (000s). 

Star Utsav fell a few notches to be placed at No. 8 this week. The channel garnered a gross viewership of 392,261, a further fall from 405,037 recorded in Week 6. 

There was no change in the positions of Life OK and Sony SAB in Week 7, which continued in the ninth and tenth spots, respectively. While Life OK garnered a gross viewership of 373,881, Sony SAB recorded a gross viewership of 325,293.
