Historical drama Sherr Shivraaj is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video
After capturing the heart of audiences and critics alike with a successful run in cinemas worldwide, the much-awaited Marathi historical drama Sherr Shivraaj can now be enjoyed by audiences across the globe from the comforts of their homes on Amazon Prime Video. Written and directed by Digpal Lanjekar, the blockbuster presents an important chapter from the history of Shivaji Maharaj’s reign. The film is the 4th offering in the franchise based on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s journey following Farzand, Fatteshikast and Pawankhind.
Sherr Shivraaj chronicles one of the greatest and bravest incidents from the life of the Great Maratha King; when Maharashtra was being crushed under the tyrannical Adilshahi rule, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj defeated Afzal Khan with his brilliant tactics and courage. Actor Chinmay Mandlekar portrays the role of the great Maratha King and Mukesh Rishi plays the mighty Afzal Khan.

Sherr Shivraaj is produced by Nitin Keni of Mumbai Movie Studios, Pradyot Pendharkar and Anil Narayanrao Varkhade of Rajwarsa Productions and Digpal Lanjekar and Chinmay Mandlekar of Mulakshar. Apart from Chinmay Mandlekar and Mukesh Rishi, the film’s star cast includes a strong team of well-known actors like Mrinal Kulkarni Ajay Purkar, Bipin Surve, Rohan Mankani and others.
