Ramesh Narayan inducted into IAA Hall of Fame

The India Chapter has been very active, positioning itself as the prime industry association that takes up causes like the environment, gender sensitization, the need to vote among other.

The IAA’s leadership awards were held in Mumbai on March 1st. 2014 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

The event saw a large turnout of marketers, advertising agency leaders and media leaders.

The culmination of the event saw the induction of Ramesh Narayan into the IAA Hall of Fame.

The citation for inducting Ramesh Narayan into the Hall of Fame recalled his leadership role in various industry associations like the Advertising Club, the Advertising Agencies Association of India and the International Advertising Association. It also extolled the contribution he had made to the growth of creative awards in India and to his significant contribution to Associations like the Audit Bureau of Circulation and the National Readership Survey. Finally the citation acknowledged his role in setting up awards like the Olive Crowns, the IAA leadership Awards and his association to help women’s issues.

The Governor of Uttar Pradesh Shri B.L. Joshi presented the award with Mr. Srinivasan Swamy, President IAA looking on.
