Star Jalsha will air it's new show 'Ekhane Akash Neel'

It’s time to fall in love, all over again, as Star Jalsha gears up to welcome Bengali television’s favorite show, Ekhane Aakash Neel and its favorite couple- Ujaan and Hiya on the small screen.This September, the channel is all set to showcase a modern take on the love story which once created history on Bengali television. Taking forward the legacy of the iconic show, Ekhane Aakash Neel returns to the small screen, the epic tale of true love.

When the city born,young and suave heart surgeon, Ujaan meets the simple and warm doctor-to-be Hiya, sparks fly. Ujaan hails from a wealthy but emotionally arid & complicated family where he has been conditioned to guard his feelings and not express his true emotions. Hiya, on the other side, hails from a small village in the hills and works her way up to move to the city in order to realize her dream of becoming a doctor.  She joins a nursing home as a medical-intern where Ujaan is the superstar heart surgeon.

Their vastly different upbringing reflects in their personalities: Ujaan believes that being emotional is a weakness for his profession. Hiya is vivacious, full of life and optimism.Though poles apart, their different approach towards life creates a clash of ideology at Tulip Nursing Home, but soon their enmity turns into attraction and they eventually fall in love.

In today’s entertainment scape Ekhane Aakaash Neel will bring in a breath of fresh air to television by creating a timeless love story against the backdrop of a nursing home. 

Presented by Surinder Films, Ekhane Akash Neel has Sean Banerjee as the young and suave Dr. Ujaan while the ever bubbly Anamika Chakraborty will be stepping into the shoes of the effervescent Hiya.

This refreshing tale of love is all set to hit the television screens from 23^rd Sep onwards, Mon-Sun at 5.30 pm, only on Star Jalsha SD and Star Jalsha HD.
