TV this week: Star Plus remains the frontrunner in Week 11 of TAM 2013

In Week 11 (March 10- 16 ) of TAM 2013 Star Plus continues to lead  among the top four Hindi general entertainment channels. The channel also leads the 7.30 pm slot with Saraswatichandra which has garnered 3.3 TVRs  within just  three weeks of it’s launch. The other popular show on the channel is Master Chef Season 3 with a rating of 2.1 TVR. The show  garnered a rating of  2.2 TVR on the day of its launch.

With seven of it’s show listed among the most watched shows Star Plus is the front runner as per viewership data sourced from TAM subscribers for the CS 4+, HSM markets. Week 11 sees Zee TV in the 2nd position followed by Colors which is now in 3rd  position. Sony has now reinforced its position at no. 4  followed by  Life OK and SAB TV which share the  5th position in Week 11 of TAM 2013.

On the back of their popular weekday shows Star Plus stands out conspicuously and has clocked 273 GRPs in Week 11 (last week 272).

Zee TV’s GRPs have dipped 13 points this week to record 202 GRPs as against last week’s  215 GRPs. Three of their shows continue to remain enlisted among the most watched shows list.

Viacom’s Colors has garnered 187 GRPs in Week 11  (last week 214) .  Four of their fiction shows have made it to the most watched show list.

Sony Entertainment Television  has clocked 163 GRPs this week thus  adding 8 points to their last weeks 155 GRPs.

SAB TV and Life OK share the  5th position with 135 GRPs each. SAB continues to remain stable with last weeks GRPs whereas  Life Ok has gained 9 points (last week 126 GRPs)  in Week 11 .

Star Utsav garnered 50 GRPs (last week 55) and Sahara One has clocked 23 GRPs.

Diya Aur Baati Hum  the most watched programme on Star Plus has  clocked a 6 TVRs followed by Baalika Vadhu (Colors), Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) and Madhubala (Colors) all three shows sharing the second spot with 4 TVRs each.

At No. 3, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai (Star Plus) and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (SAB TV) tboth share 3.8 TVRs each. At no. 4 is Life OK's flagship mythological series, Mahadev, which has garnered 3.7 TVRs.

In 5th position is Star Plus' Saathiya Saath Nibhana and Zee TV's India's Best Dramebaaz both  registering 3.4 TVRs each . Star Plus' new property Saraswatichandra has taken the sixth place with 3.3 TVRs.

At No. 7, Zee TV's Qubool Hai and Colors' Sasuaral Genda Phool have garnered  3.1 TVRs each and three shows, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke (Zee TV), Veera (Star Plus) and Uttaran (Colors) share the eighth spot with 3 TVRs each.

Crime Patrol and Nach Baliye are at no.9 and no.10 with 2.9 and 2.7 TVRs, respectively in Week 11 (March 10- 16 ) of TAM 2013 .
