TV this week: Zee TV's India's Best Dramebaaz gives the channel a boost

Zee TV is in the limelight this week with their show ‘India’s Best Dramebaaz’ as per data sourced from TAM subscribers for CS 4+ HSM , markets in week 9. The channel has overtaken Colors to be in second place with 226 GRPs in Week 9 . It also holds second position in prime time viewing with 146 GRPs and  is no. 1 on weekends in prime time with 48 GRPs . The channel rules the non fiction space with IBD garnering 4.4 TVR amongst CS4+ and  is the leader amongst Digital audience with an average of 3.9 TVR . 

In week 9 Star Plus continues to be at the top with 265 GRPs . gaining 17 points as against 248 GRPs last week. This week Zee TV is at no. 2 position has lost five points  and garnered  226 GRPs (last week 231). In third place  comes Colors with 220 GRPs. Here too a dip of 15 points is seen from last week’s 235 GRPs. In fourth position   is Sony which has clocked 170 GRPs and have lost 18 points from last week’s 188 GRPs. Now at No. 5 SAB TV has garnered 138 GRPs and continues to be the same as last week. Life OK is in fifth place with 132 GRPs as against 144 GRPs of week 8. Star Utsav has garnered 56 GRPs (last week 51) and Sahara One continues with 24 GRPs (same as last week) in Week 9.

Among the ten most watched shows their rating points for Week 9 are as follows: India’s Best Dramebaaz clocked a rating of 4.1 TVR on Saturday and 4.7 TVR on Sunday. The average rating for show Saraswati Chandra which premiered in Week 9 on Star Plus is 2.1 TVR .The other most watched shows include Diya Aur Bati Hum which has clocked a rating of  5.9 TVR . Next comes, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai at 4.4 TVR , Balika Vadhu with  4.2 TVR Pavitra Rishta (Zee TV)  with 4.1 TVR , Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah with 3.9 TVR  , Madhubala  with 3.7 TVR, Sasural Simar Ka with 3.2 TVR , Sapane Suhane Ladakpan Ke  has clocked 3.8 TVR , Saathiya Saath Nibhana with 3.3 TVR  and Pyar Ka Dard Meetha Meetha  has garnered a rating of 3.5 TVR.
