Google to use **555 for railwire

When Mogae Media launched its revolutionary StarStar (**) call-to-action service in the second quarter of 2016, getting big brands to start using it in their advertising was the biggest challenge.

“We begin 2017 on a big high for StarStar. We are proud to partner Google in their extensive RailWire Wi-Fi and Google Duo program which has just been launched all over the country,” says Sandeep Goyal, Chairman Mogae Media. “This Google program is already live at 100 railway stations, and is expected to be rolled out to 400 more in 2017. We are extremely happy that StarStar (**) has found ready acceptance amongst some of India’s largest brand owners, Google being one of them. We have had very successful campaigns for Star TV, Nerolac Paints, Yes Bank, Discovery, Urban Clap and Vodafone in past months. And we are really glad to see visible transactional traction at clients like Max-Life who are using StarStar for a variety of customer facing solutions.”

Yes Bank signed up on StarStar with **BANK and **YESBANK in mid 2016 and today uses the call to action code across all its ATMs and customer contact points across the bank. Star TV ran a huge Diwali campaign to promote its Hi-Definition (HD) channels with **HD. Star TV also owns the **STAR action code. Kansai Nerolac has been using **PAINT in its latest commercial with Shah Rukh Khan as the brand endorsee.

The first user of StarStar was SabMiler which used the **5000 code to promote its Hausla Buland CSR campaign extensively on TV, primarily on cricket properties.

Urban Clap used **UC for marketing all its various services including beauty care, yoga teachers, wedding photographers, plumbers and a hundred other services to build customer-connect with its platform.

Telecom giant Vodafone has been using **APP (**277) to generate App downloads. While Discovery TV which uses **TV has been using the StarStar code to promote its River Monster show.

Other clients that have signed up for StarStar include DSP BlackRock (**BLACK), Axis Bank (**AXIS), Tata Motors (**CAR), Kellogg’s (**BREKFAST, **OATS, **MUESLI). “Campaigns from these clients are under discussion,” says Goyal.

Dabur took **111 to engage customers in various promotional contests during the festive season. Similarly, Rapid Metro in Gurgaon used **888 to promote its newly launched routes on the metro.

StarStar is a patented B2B2C offering from Mogae Media that enables brands to connect their (TV) Advertising with customers through a convenient/memorable ‘call-to-action’ both from feature and smartphones. It is live across 800 million subscribers of Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, Aircel and Reliance.
