Indian Express reshuffles its edit team

The internal environment always has a profound effect on an organization’s efficiency. Such an internal change has just taken place at the Indian Express.
 
There has been a reshuffling of the editorial team who are moving to new roles. YP Rajesh will now move to New Delhi as Assistant Editor of Indian Express, Deputy Editor P. Vaidyanathan Iyer  takes on his new role as Resident Editor of the newspaper.
 
Shekhar Gupta Editor-in-Chief, The Indian Express says “I think it brings more focus and puts  a lot more energy behind the editorial ideas and concepts that we are working on.”
He also added that readers could expect more changes which would bring in more analyses, indepth stories and long format stories and product differentiations.
 
The other changes also expected at Indian Express is that Mr. Subhomoy Bhattacharya will move as Deputy Editor. He will be in charge of national economy and business bureau. Mr. Sunil Jain will now be Assistant Managing Director (Opinion & Policy) and Shobhana Subramanian will move to Delhi as Assistant Managing Director (News).
 
Mr.Gupta says, “These changes will infuse more talent and energy into our editorial teams at Indian Express and The Financial Express.”
