TV this week: Star Plus at #1

Top watched channels for the week 24 as per TAM were Star Plus, Zee TV, followed by Colours, Sony, SAB and Life OK. While Star Plus and Zee gained most GRPs during the week at 12 and 13 GRPs their tally increased to 254 and 193 GRPs respectively. Colours lost 17 GRPs, its total being 181. Sony took the fourth slot with total GRPs of 151, SAB tally was 140 GRPs and Life OK’s was 127. SAB lost 2 GRPs whereas Life OK saw a huge decline of 22 GRPs.

Channel wise top programmes were as under

Star Plus

Diya Aur Baati Hum 4.4 TVR (4.1 TVR last week); Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 3.5 TVR (3.1 TVR last week); Pyaar ka Dard 3.2 TVR (3.0 TVR last week); Veera at 2.5 TVR (2.1 TVR last week). India's Dancing Superstar got 1.5 TVR on Saturday and 1.4 TVR on Sunday. Its Masterchef grand finale generated 3.7 TVR.

Zee TV's

DID Super Moms 2.8 TVR (3.0 TVR last week) on Saturday and 3.2 TVR (3.6 TVR last week) on Sunday respectively. Qubool Hai 2.8 TVR (2.9 TVR last week); Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke 2.5 TVR (2.3 TVR last week); Punar Vivaah 1.1 (1.4 TVR last week).

Colors

Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Saturday 2.0 TVR (2.4 TVR last week) and 1.9 TVR on Sunday (2.3 TVR last week). Balika Vadhu 2.6 TVR (2.8 TVR last week); Madhubala- Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, 2.5 TVR (2.9 TVR last week); Uttaran 2.3 TVR (2.2 TVR last week).

Sony

CID and Crime Patrol got 2.3 TVR and 1.7 TVR respectively. Comedy Circus 1.1 TVR (1.3 TVR last week); Maharana Pratap 1.3 TVR, Indian Idol Junior 1.9 TVR on Saturday and 1.8 TVR  on Sunday.

SAB

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah 3.1 TVR (3.0 TVR last week). Lapataganj (in-laws) 1.3 TVR (0.5 TVR last week).

Life OK's
