Video Exclusive: The ads that stood out this week

Continuing with Adgully’s weekly feature, we turn the spotlight on the ad campaigns that stood out from the myriad campaigns that hit various media platforms. While most whizz by on our screens, there are some that force us to sit back and take notice – by their sheer creativity, presentation, theme, and message.

We welcome your suggestions and invite you to send in your observations on campaigns that caught your attention.

Disney India Shadiyantra TVC

This TVC delivers a hard-hitting message that focuses on repercussions of having kids watch adult content; in a very light-hearted, funny and entertaining manner.

Bausch and Lomb - Blame The Frame

The campaign “Blame the Frame” revolves around situations where spectacles get in the way of great experiences. The narrative of the ads takes this fight with spectacles head on, while being humorous, cheeky, and fun to appeal to the youth, with the added appeal of youth icon Nargis Fakhri.

Kia Motors - #KiaSeltos

Kia Motor’s India has launched its first marketing campaign to announce their new product Kia Seltos. They have roped in Tiger Shroff to be the face of the campaign and have released two TVCs. Conceptualised by Innocean Worldwide, the campaign is titled #ProjectBadass and sees the return of a character from their brand film ‘Magical Inspirations, Stunning Designs’.

Sleek Kitchens - Modern Kitchens for Modern Minds

The TVC is a slice from the everyday life of a truly modern couple. The story takes place in an urban Sleek kitchen in the home of a progressive couple. The father-son duo are seen navigating and working in the kitchen with ease and finesse, thus indicating that it isn’t their first time in the kitchen.

Disha x Portico – A Night to Remember

The brand has released a film for the campaign on their social media platforms. Disha Patani has leveraged her own Instagram handle to promote the brand and has drawn as many as 1.6 million likes. At the time of filing this report, the overall engagements for the campaign add up in the millions.
