2019 Lok Sabha Election Results kept nation glued to news channels in Week 22

Chrome News Track, from Chrome Data Analytics and Media, which has been conducting study on News Content aired across India, has revealed that – not surprisingly – news about the “2019 Lok Sabha Election Results” was the “Most Aired, Most Watched and Most Discussed News” of Week 22.

The survey conducted is an outcome of the data collected from 34,000 Chrome DM panel homes across India. It analyses the effectiveness of the News aired on television every week and categorises it through three broad segments namely Most Aired, Most Watched and Most Discussed.

Most Aired News in Week 22

According to the Chrome News Track data for the Week 22 - 2019, “2019 Lok Sabha Election Result” was the most Aired News this week, followed by News About “Rahul Gandhi Offered to Resign but CWC Rejected”. The News about “Fire Accident in Surat” stood at the 3^rd spot, the news about “Narendra Damodardas Modi Takes Oath As PM” was next in the list, while News about “DRDO Successfully Test Fired the Akash-1S Surface to Air Defence Missile” managed to take the fifth and the last spot.

The survey also unveils that “2019 Lok Sabha Election Result” was the most watched news for the week grabbing maximum eyeballs, followed by “Narendra Damodardas Modi Takes Oath As PM”. The news about “Rahul Gandhi Offered to Resign but CWC Rejected”, “Fire Accident in Surat” and “DRDO Successfully Test Fired the Akash-1S Surface to Air Defence Missile” also generated interests amongst viewers and are placed at 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th positions, respectively, in the list.
