Sanjay Tripathy, Executive Vice President - Head Marketing, Products and Direct Channels at HDFC Life says, “It has been really good to be a part of Emvies 2012. I feel that the quality of entries have been improving over the years. Also the quality of presentations has gone up this year. I have been a part of this platform since 5 years and every year I see a rise in the quality of entries but this year, I see more of 360 degree integrated campaigns.”

Snehi Jha Mehta, Head Marketing at ICICI Prudential AMC says, “I feel the entries were really good this time. The demonstration of the products was really nice. The best part was the use of media and the ideas behind the whole strategy. Some new categories were also introduced this year, which I feel is a great motivation.”

Praveen Tripathi, Chief Executive Officer, Magic9 Media & Consumer Knowledge Pvt Ltd, who became a part of Emvies this year, believes, “Well! It is my first time but the experience and the entries both were outstanding. Out of all, Cinema innovations have been really amazing. The integration of the strategies is what matters. ”

Bipin Pandit, General Manager at The Advertising Club Bombay says, “Having witnessed the case study presentations over the past 12 years, I think every year the quality of presentation is going up. I also think that the confidence level of the youngsters, of all the agencies, is improving every year and people have done a lot of value addition to their presentations. Overall it was a fabulous experience with amazing categories and entries.”

Subhash Kamath, Managing Partner at BBH India, says, “The entries are not good as compared to last year. Last year some of the candidates were outstanding and fabulous.”

Band Baja Awards too were judged by him. With regard to judging a category like Band Baja Awards he said, “Actually it’s pretty easy because some are really good singers and some are not. Secondly what is difficult is that some are singing with guitars, some are karaoke singers and some are just singing on the music, so then it becomes difficult.”

The three days of fun, enthusiasm and excitement at EMVIES 2012 ended leaving audiences eager to know more about the final results.

Adgully will keep readers posted to learn more about  the grand awards ceremony which is scheduled for September 3rd 2012 at Taj Lands End, Bandra.
