Loop Mobile supports Trinayani for Disability Awareness Drive

Loop Mobile, Mumbai's nonstop network, is pleased to partner with NGO Trinayani for Disability Awareness Drive at Oberoi Mall from Nov 29th till December 4th. The Disability awareness drive would include foot reflexology massage therapy by trained blind therapists and showcase the modified hand operated car used by the physically disabled.

Mr Arif Ali, Head ' Brand & Communications, Loop Mobile says, "We are glad to support and create an awareness drive around this unique cause which is taken up by Trinayani. Apart from the Disability drive we are also providing visibility to them at our retail outlets in over 50 galleries spread across Mumbai. Trinayani is doing a commendable job towards this cause and for this cause and to empower disabled peorsons to live a fulfilling life".

Indranil Goswami, Chairman, Trinayani adds, "Malls being the Town Square Market place of today are possibly the most logical choice as venues, where we can bring children, teenagers and young professionals in contact with the tangible realities pertaining to disability. Being the builders of the future, if they are aware today, they might bring a little change to our society tomorrow".

TRINAYANI, a nonprofit organization founded in 2006 works towards mass awareness of disability and support to persons with disabilities. We specialize in demystifying the subject of disability through disability awareness training which are usually co-hosted by both able bodied and a disabled presenter. We believe that neglecting the cause of including people with disabilities in the mainstream of social life happens more out of ignorance, misinformation and exposure to Appropriate Visibility of persons with disabilities. We make films, radio programs/audio jingles, conduct seminars-workshops, publish books /posters and maintain an interactive website to facilitate the process of inclusion of human beings with disability in the mainstream of the society believing that "Disability is not the problem. The real problem is ATTITUDINAL barriers."
